51 Teachings of THE SPIRIT (An excerpt from the book Dear People,)

1 "My doctrine is not Mine, but THE GOD who sent me."

2 The fear of THE LORD is the beginning of all knowledge and wisdom.

3 There is only one GOD. To be in obedience with THE SPIRIT one

must first love (respect) THE LORD with all their heart, soul, and mind. Love ones fellow man as if it were themselves. This is the essence of living in tune with GODS WILL. If your spiritual practice has this as its base, then it is from GOD. Whatever people choose to call the practice of their spiritual beliefs, always hold true to this.

4 “Ceremonialism causes spirituality to wither almost till death in the hearts of

the people. Yet death is like a parasite, it needs life to remain relevant, and life needs it. Only THE GOD knows its purposes, but if one ever wondered the purpose of evil, perhaps it can be likened to the purposes of parasitic organisms in life.”

Meditate daily on THE WILL OF GOD

5There is no satisfying the selfish lusts of our own. Even by a shower of gold pieces; he who knows that lusts have a short taste and cause pain, he is wise; Even in heavenly pleasures he finds no satisfaction, the disciple who is fully awakened delights only in the destruction of all desires and seek harmony with THE FORCE that is GOD. Only then can true happiness be found.

6 Prayer and meditation is the communication between a human and GOD.

Just as there are many ways to communicate with another person, many are the ways in which GOD and a person can commune. Acknowledge and consider GODS WAYS in your daily dealings. Make his ways “your way.” Prayer can be understood as when a person talks to GOD, where meditation is when one listens. Prayer and meditation is essentially a direct energy transfer between the created and THE CREATOR. a=Chapter 103 v.18

Fasting

7 Fasting brings purity to the body-mind to enhance the spiritual connection in the physical body. Puts the body in a state that is free from pollution. Opens one to THE SPIRIT.

8 Fasting coupled with prayer brings about the purest connection and

understanding the human body can develop with GOD.

9 Jesus, as well as other well-known prophets, was at some point constrained by the promptings of THE SPIRIT to withdraw from men and the distraction of community life, by retiring into the wilderness where He would be free to commune with GOD. Throughout the period of retirement, he ate not, but chose to fast, that his mortal body might the more completely be subjected to its divine spirit.

10 “When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door,

pray to your FATHER who is in the secret place; and your FATHER who sees in secret will reward you openly."

11 "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For

they think that they will be heard for their many words."

12 “For your FATHER knows the things you have need of before you ask

Him.

In this manner therefore pray:"

“Our FATHER in Heaven."

"Hallowed be YOUR name."

"Your kingdom come"

"Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven"

"As in heaven so on earth"

"Give us this day our daily bread"

"Give us the bread of our need this day."

"And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors."

"And forgive us our offenses as we also have forgiven those who have offended us."

"And do not lead us into temptation"

"But deliver us from the evil one."

"For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen"

13 "But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you

do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your FATHER who is in the secret place; and your FATHER who sees in secret will reward you openly."

14 Repent, and seek THE WILL OF GOD. Repentance can be defined

as changing one's heart and mind on a particular action or thought process. Meaning changing how one feels and thinks. This is not just an utterance of words but a true transformation of thinking and action. Unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means [enter/realize] the kingdom of heaven.. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. THE GOD forgives as a person forgives. If you are of little forgiveness to your fellow man, how likely will THE GOD forgive you. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your FATHER forgive your trespasses."

15 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust

destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."

16 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

17 "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole

body will be full of light."

18 "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore

the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"

19 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the

other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other."

"You cannot serve GOD and mammon." (Money, wealth or property)

20 Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor

about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? “Now if GOD so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?..."Therefore do not worry, saying ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

21 "But seek first the kingdom of GOD and His righteousness, and all these

things shall be added to you."

22 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its

own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

23 "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you

will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."

24 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but

inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits."

25 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the

fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

26 "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of

heaven; but he who does the will of MY FATHER IN HEAVEN."

27 "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and

you will have treasure in heaven;

28 "You shall not tempt the LORD."

29 "Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do

not turn away."

30 "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate

your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies,"

"bless those who curse you,"

"do good to those who hate you,"

"and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,"

"that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His

sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on

the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?

Do not even the tax-collectors do the same? And if you greet your

brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax

collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."

31 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be

seen by them. Otherwise, you have no reward from your Father in heaven."

32 “Blessed (goodness towards you) are they who are poor in spirit, because

theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

33 “Blessed are they who are mourning because they will be comforted.”

34 “Blessed are they who are meek because they will inherit the earth.”

35 “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness because they

will be satisfied.”

36 “Blessed are they who are merciful because mercies will be upon them.”

37 “Blessed are they who are pure in their hearts because they will see

Elohim.”

38 “Blessed are they who make peace because they will be called the sons of

Elohim.”

39 “Blessed are they who are persecuted because of righteousness because

theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

40 “Blessed are you whenever they curse you and they persecute you and

they say every evil word about you falsely because of me.”

41 "Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the

mouth, this defiles a man."

42 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found

and hid, and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."

43 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,

who when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it."

44 “Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.' For whatever is more than

these is from the evil one.”

45 "Let your light shine so before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

46 What good is all that a man has learned if he has no wisdom or discipline to apply?

47 Each person has his or her own personal beliefs. How discipline are you to your own?

48 Do not enter anything without being fully committed.

49 When one feels lost, focus on the things you know GOD put in front of you and the rest will play out in time.

50 One negative thought (no matter how small) has the ability, and usually does, to change your attitude about all that you may think about.

Negativity given off brings negativity back.

51 We all are discipline by something. All people have some type of beliefs.

Without, you are as an animal, responding only to the natural impulses of flesh. Some disciplines believe in powers beyond themselves. All different but similar. The closer the interpretation is to the TRUTH OF ALL, the more powerful the group of believers and followers of the in tune discipline.

52 In a world that is influenced by the negative energies, Brainwash yourself

with what is righteous and true. Surround yourself with things that motivate you into THE FORCE THAT IS GOD.

53 The only way to cure love is with LOVE.

The only way to cure is with LOVE.

Healing comes from LOVE.

Patience comes from LOVE.

Teaching comes from LOVE.

Mercy comes from LOVE.

54 I do not have patients for the systems of man, but patients for my fellow

man. Patients for the natural rhythm of GOD.
