Breezy Farms
Breezy Farms is an initiative in self sufficiency. We grow and provide as much tangible food as possible to our family, both close and distant. We partner with neighborhoods and families that express the interest in gardening and becoming self sufficient but don't necessarily have the know how or the resources to start.
All you need is a backyard and the desire and we will include yours with ours. If you are willing, all we ask is that you specialize in one product, be it meat birds, egg hens, potatoes, herbs , tomatoes or whatever, your efforts will be aided and half your yield will be given back to you and yours, and the other half will be given to Breezy Farms for the goal of stocking a community grocery. All nations that have risen throughout the ages, believe it or not, was built on the backs of farmers. Food and water is a absolute necessity.
A nature consultation is our way of applying our depth of experience to your individual school nature project. We will do an on-site visit to see your outdoor space, we will discuss your goals for your garden or nature project, listen to your challenges and make action plans to ensure your school’s needs are met.
Meat and Egg Birds
Breezy Farms has a rotation of about 50 birds. We would like to grow with you in your backyard.
Breakfast Meats
At breezy farms, we understand the stigma when it comes to pigs and pork. To each his own. What a do know is that civilization maybe nothing if not for the pig and its kind providing meat to those that came before us. Breezy farms raise pigs in the most clean and humane manner for the sake of the cause.
Potatoes and what not
Please join us in farming potatoes for the community. Very easy and can be grown in pots or in ground. All types. These are even good to grow in pots for those that only have apartment balcony space.
Salad Crops
